iClicker - Student Registration


Steps to register an iClicker

  1. Go to https://ctl-clicker.byu.edu/home.php.

  2. Sign in if needed.

  3. Enter the iClicker number and click Submit.
If they do not know the remote ID, they can go to the third floor of the BYU Bookstore, where there is an iclicker base that they can use to find the ID to register the iclicker. Also see KB0026184 for more information.
 
If you have the number of the iClicker and would like to know to whom it is registered, please call BYU Technology Support Center (801-422-4000 or it@byu.edu).
 

NOTE: Because registering iClickers on iclicker.com now requires a fee, the Center for Teaching and Learning has set up their own way to register by going to https://ctl-clicker.byu.edu/home.php.

Also, professors will need to enable these registrations in their courses. For instructions on that, follow KB0028153.

 

If you have the number of an iClicker and need to know to whom it is registered, open a new tab and navigate to ctl-clicker.byu.edu/?c=[iClicker number].  For example, ctl-clicker.byu.edu/?c=472C2843.  If the iClicker is registered, it will show the name and Net ID of the individual to whom it belongs.  If the page is blank, the device is unregistered.
