Graduate Admissions - General Information

This service lets you apply online for graduate school at BYU. Graduate Admissions are handled using a third party application called ApplyYourself. It is hosted off campus and is used by many graduate programs throughout the country.

Anyone applying to graduate school at BYU may use this product, with the exception of the J. Reuben Clark Law School (Law school applicants should use the forms on law.byu.edu).

For information on Undergraduate Admissions, see this article.

How to Access the Graduate School Application

This is done by going to the BYU homepage and selecting the link to apply to graduate school (Future Students -> Admissions -> Graduate Application). Another resource available is gradstudies.byu.edu. All information for the process can be found on that site. To apply, click on Future Students -> Apply Now.

Alternatively, there is a link directly to ApplyYourself: https://app.applyyourself.com/AYApplicantLogin/fl_ApplicantConnectLogin.asp?id=byugrad

Note: The tool to apply to graduate school is an integrated 3rd party service called applyyourself.com. It is linked through the BYU homepage and fronted to appear like a BYU website. It uses a separate User Name and password instead of the users BYU Net ID. Users will use their BYU Net ID as part of account creation, but the User Name for the application account will be different. The website has more account creation instructions in detail if the user has more questions.
