Learning Suite - Broken Images in Content Pages and Exams


On occasion students will not be able to see images either in a content page or while taking an exam. Everything will usually appear normal on the instructor's side.

 

Here is an example of what a student might see while taking an exam:
 
 



This seems to be caused when exams are copied from previous courses, especially when copying into a course post-Aug. 2014 update from a pre-update course; however we are unsure exactly what causes this to occur in the copy process.

 

There are two known fixes to the issue:
 

Quicker Option

  1. Delete the image from the page or question and re-insert it from the professor's files.

 

Option 2

  1. Download the image to your desktop.

  2. Delete it from the files page.

  3. Re-upload it (you may need to change the file name).

  4. Insert this "new image" to the content page or exam question.
